Beginning March 6, pole replacement will begin along Heinel Road, which is expected to last approximately one week in this location.
The 115-kiloVolt transmission line was originally installed in the late 1970s and early 1980s and has reached the end of its expected life. Replacing the transmission line will help ensure we can continue to deliver reliable electricity for customers.
Workers will remove and install new poles over a period of about two months, with expected completion in May 2023.
We have worked with the City of Roseville to inform them of our work plan to ensure workers and residents are aware of the work as it is being conducted and to ensure the safety of travelers and residents in the area.
While work is being conducted residents can expect some lane closures while work is being conducted and equipment is moved. General work hours will take place from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm with occasional weekend work beginning at 9:00 am if required due to weather conditions.
